Erkay Savaş to Speak at the I-SENSE Seminar on November 20

Erkay Savaş
Prof. Dr. Erkay Savaş, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabancı University, will be a speaker at the seminar titled “RISQrypt: Fast, Secure, and Configurable HW/SW Co-Design for Post-Quantum Cryptography”, organized by Florida Atlantic University’s I-SENSE (Institute for Sensing and Embedded Network Systems Engineering) on November 20.

At the seminar to be held at Florida Atlantic University, Prof. Dr. Erkay Savaş will discuss the latest developments in post-quantum cryptography and introduce RISQrypt, a RISC-V–based hardware–software co-design computer processor architecture developed by Sabancı University researchers in collaboration with KU Leuven. Distinguished by its resistance to side-channel attacks, the RISQrypt processor architecture facilitates the implementation of next-generation cryptographic standards while delivering high performance, flexibility, and energy efficiency for secure embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms. Planned to be produced as an integrated circuit, RISQrypt offers a unique solution in the field of post-quantum security, combining flexibility, robustness against side-channel attacks, and high performance.

Those who wish to attend Erkay Savaş’s seminar, where he will present the details of the RISQrypt processor architecture, can register at https://bit.ly/ISENSEsavas.
